This is a 1940's original wind up mechanical lithographed tin toy that works in very good condition with the original box protected in sealed wrapping. She is called the Sweeping Mammy No. 1750 made in the U. Box says she dances as she sweeps. I find no plastic parts, looks to be all lithographed tin with printed on card board box.
She has some wear in some small places that are scratched or rubbed off from play at one time, but no rust. I tried to show them in most of the pictures: outer edges of lower fore arms, around back ribbon ties...

It has wonderful bright color and detail. Box is nice and protected with great color. This toy would be an asset to any collection or museum, especially having the original box. It comes from a private museum quality collection.
