9 doublsided pages for a total of 18 pages containing 75 photographs. Many of the photos have hand written descriptions in white on the scrapbook page or on the border of the photos. The pages are loose but in ex condition with little wear. Read below to see African American photographs with racist descriptions. Muscle Shoals Alabama 4/18/18 to 10/5/18 - 31 photos. The first 31 photos based on the writing on a page appear to be when he was staioned with the Ordinance Corps Nitrate Division T in Muscle Shoals Alabama but also a piece of letterhead that indicates Sheffield Alabama.

Consists of photos of soldiers, outdoor scenes on the Tennessee river. A historic Pt Rock where based on description confederates had a battery during the civil war. There is a nice photo of a soldier on an Indian motorcycle with Indian painted on the gas tank.

The next 44 photos start with the overall description of. Rockwood Quarry, Russellville Alabama Construction Division U. Army October 5, 1918 to April 12, 1919. Appears he was working on quarrying stone the Rockwood Quarry in Franklin County Alabama. Pictures of quarry operations and oudoor scenery but this section has various photos of local African Americans that appear to be sharecroppers.
